Transforming Healthcare Bridging the Digital Divide

Healthcare is a space where demand is fairly constant, and time is always in short order.

From our time at the Conference of Montreal, Acorn's team was fortunate enough to be able to attend The Digitization of Healthcare. We learned there is a lot that can be done in terms of data management, functional user experience, and integrating a variety of sources of data to solve many of problems medical operators are facing in 2024.

Currently Acorn is working with wheelchair, mobility, and accessories providers on digital infrastructure and e-commerce projects. Our attendance at the Conference of Montreal has reaffirmed that Acorn is well equipped to provide meaningful assistance in these, and related, domains of medical service provisions as we take the next steps in our business development processes, and broader industry engagement strategies. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Mobility and Seating Clinics
  • Rehabilitation Technology Centers
  • Assistive Technology Clinics
  • Orthotics and Prosthetics Clinics

Coordinating skills, understanding investment landscapes, and isolating actionable problem sets is how Acorn's digital service provisions can be an asset in driving solutions for these domains. The infographics below help to summarize the state of digitization in digital healthcare and exist to create conversation pieces to start planning for, and delivering on, digital solutions in modern healthcare systems.

To summarize:

There is a lot to do, a lot that can be done, and if the past half decade has taught us anything, it's that decision overload can take it's toll on our better judgements. This is why finding cooperative areas of alignment, collaborating to communicate problem sets, and deliberating on the nature of subject matter expertise required to build, resource, and sustain meaningful coalitions to tackle the problems of the day are fundamental to operational success in logistically dense areas of medical procurement.

We need to work iteratively to align skills and technologies, while at the same time producing meaningful digital architectures that provide analytics/diagnostics to better serve vendors, practitioners, medical administrative teams and, ultimately, drive the quality of patient care/coverage across the continuum of care.

It all starts with a conversation, getting to know one another, and learning how we can help. And we can't wait to get started 💪
