Discovery
Discovery is phase one of the service design and delivery process. Research is absolutely critical to understand the scope of problems we can solve in your digital environments. Once we've understood all of your challenges, needs and wants, we can inform the rest of the project with detailed requirements.
User Experience (UX) & Information Architecture (IA)
As a standard part of the UX process, designers create a hierarchy of information as the building blocks of product flow. UX also seeks to understand the psychology of WHAT we're doing, so solutions can be tailored to need. Defining and anticipating every path that users can take through an app or website, IA produces a sitemap to show what page leads where. IA also provides "Wireframed Prototypes", which are low fidelity skeletons of the work we can rapidly develop, and create a conversation with. This allows us to be as granular as you need us to be without undue expense. Once approved, the project blueprints are submitted to the design team.
Design & Prototyping
The Design & Prototyping stage is all about creating multi-platform responsive designs, interactive mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes. These are exciting to click through to see how the final application or website will look, behave, and react. Once client approved, the mockups are submitted to the development team to begin writing the code.
Full Stack Development
This is the process of obtaining real-world requirements, analyzing those requirements, designing the data and functions of the system, and then implementing the operations in the system into high performance code. Developers turn designs into functional software and build out all the behind-the-scenes pieces to ensure accessibility, search-ability and proper performance.
Deployment & The Future
Deployment is our final phase of the software development life cycle, launching the product from prototype to working web site or application. Typically working through the phases above will uncover a list of features that could be applied to the site as future wants and needs, especially as applied analytics uncover user movements. These changes and additional features can be scheduled for future updates to keep the website, or application, fresh and in excellent working order.
